Our homes are supposed to provide a safe, healthy atmosphere, as well as a roof over our heads.  What many of us don’t realize is the number of toxins present in our living spaces that could lead to serious health problems, such as cancer, allergies, and asthma.  The three major ones are benzene, trichloroethylene and formaldehyde, which can come from products we use everyday.  From furnishings to paint on the walls, we can lessen the amount of toxins by using natural products, ventilating, and filling your home with these plants.  Luckily, the best plants for air purification can be found at any home improvement store or nursery in your area and to top it off they are easy to take care of.  Just so you are aware, all the plants listed here will clean your air, but only some will regulate humidity.
